2026 US Photo Printing Study

(June 2026) The 2026 US Photo Printing Study provides the results of an extensive online survey of 1,121 US consumers that focuses on printing habits and behaviors for traditional photo prints. The study provides an in-depth analysis of retail, online, and home printing methods, as well as use and attitudes toward AI. Non-printers were also asked about why they choose not to print and what could be done to make prints more attractive.

2026 Worldwide Image Capture Forecast: 2025 – 2030

(February 2026) Rise Above Research expects that the number of photos taken and stored will increase in 2026 and rise at a steady linear rate through 2030, with smartphones accounting for the vast majority of those photos. This will lead to a 5% increase in photos taken this year to around 1.95 trillion photos worldwide.
